Iranian film ‘Exam’ is to vie at Kortfilmfestivalen-Norwegian Short Film Festival.

Iranian film ‘Exam’ is slated to vie at the Kortfilmfestivalen-Norwegian Short Film Festival.

The short directed by Sonia Haddad is among the Iranian films lineup to be screened at the 2020 edition of the event.

‘Exam’ narrates the story of a girl named Sadaf who has forebodings for the exam she is going to take.

But today, instead of going to school she must deliver a package of illegal drugs to a client and gets caught in a weird cycle of events.

‘Exam’ has participated at several international festivals and grabbed some awards, including the AFI fest award which made the title qualified for the short film category of the Oscars 2021 and the 35th Sundance Film Festival in the US has honored the flick’s star Sadaf Asgari with the Special Jury Award for Best Actor.

The Kortfilmfestivalen is a film event which accepts both Norwegian and international works for its two competitive lineups. Besides, the event organizes film discussion panels, debates, workshops and seminars. On the sideline of the fest some recreational activities such as boat trips, concerts and any other programs are offered too.

Over the pandemic of coronavirus, this year’s edition of the event will hold online on June 10-14, 2020.
